Evertaut Scores Big at the Wolves Museum: Club Seating & Tiering Case Study

Introduction
Evertaut Ltd was approached by Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, who sought to revamp their auditorium seating in the extremely popular Wolves Museum. The existing seating was outdated, dull and didn’t reflect the dynamic and vibrant nature of the museum, or the ground. With an influx of visitors, they needed to increase capacity yet provide comfortable, high-quality seating that would complement the modern design of the museum and provide a better customer experience for its visitors.
The Solution
Evertaut was chosen to deliver this transformation, providing seating that not only offered superior comfort but also enhanced the visual appeal of the auditorium. Our expert team worked closely with the Client to tailor the Evertaut stadium ‘Club’ chair to their specific visual and spatial requirements. Whilst it was imperative that the auditorium seating looked great and matched the aesthetic, it was also vital that the chairs worked within the limitations of the space.
Manufacture
The new bespoke Club stadium seat was manufactured at Evertaut’s Lancashire factory, adhering to ISO 9001 and 14001, quality and environmental standards. Over two thirds of the Evertaut staff team have worked with the organisations over 12 years, and as such, the manufacturing process was typically smooth. The Club seats were upholstered in a durable, antimicrobial black vinyl from the Chieftain Just Colour range in Cobalt. The back of each auditorium seat was embroidered with the iconic Wolves crest in their unmistakable club yellow. The chairs were completed on time and budget (in August), with each seat for the auditorium inspected before dispatch, ensuring all chairs were produced to the highest quality.
The Challenge
On arrival at the venue, our installation team were surprised to find that the tier upon which we were expecting to install the seats had been removed. Unshaken by the predicament, the project team set to work on sourcing the materials required to build the tiering. Having garnered a wealth of experience building numerous tiered structures to support the seating, our CAD team was able to draw up the necessary plans and submit for approval in record time. Our installation team was onsite to meet the materials for their arrival and we were able to push forward with the successful installation of tiering, carpeting and seating installation within the timescale required for opening.
