Sitting Strong: How Evertaut Supports the Community
At Evertaut, we believe that being part of a community means more than just a team making quality products. Community also means contributing to the strength, wellbeing and future of those around us. Our commitment to local communities, charities and causes is wholly important to us, and we’re proud to support a variety of initiatives that reflect our values.

Teamwork
Our 2024/25 sponsorships highlight our passion for nurturing local talent. We proudly support the Junior Manchester Giants youth basketball team, Lancashire netball teams, Darwen Colts under 7’s football team, and promising cricket player Ellis Hoole.
We’ve installed premium stadium seating solutions for grass roots clubs at our cost because we believe that investment at this level contributes to raising the aspirations of those young players. After all, if Evertaut seats are good enough for Man City, they’re good enough for Mill Hill Juniors – right? Through our support, we help young athletes develop their skills and pursue their dreams. These teams reflect the energy and determination of our local community and business values. We are thrilled to be part of their journey.

Charity
Beyond sports, we recognise the importance of giving back to causes that matter. This year, we have proudly supported the British Red Cross, Mind, Alzheimer’s UK, Shelter, Cancer Research UK, and Macmillan Cancer Support through our donations. These organisations do vital work, and it’s our privilege to contribute to their efforts to improve lives across the UK.
Our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning is just one example of how we bring our team and the local community together for a cause that touches many. Events like this allow us to connect, raise funds, and share in the spirit of giving. Charitable initiatives foster connection, compassion, and resilience, principles as vital to community as they are to our business. As we look toward the future, we’re grateful that our community continues to support us as we grow, and we remain steadfast in our mission to support them in return.
Personal
Evertaut Co-Director Nicole Smalley says,
“Our commitment to charitable work is rooted in values that are close to our hearts. Before joining Evertaut, I spent six years as Arts Education Officer for a local charity, working directly with those in need across Lancashire. That experience showed me how essential it is to have both community and financial support.
Businesses have a unique ability to make a real difference, not just by offering resources but by raising awareness and connecting people to the opportunities that can transform lives. When businesses engage it creates a ripple effect, allowing volunteers and those in need to find each other much more easily.
Business and community are inseparable. Strong communities help businesses prosper and successful businesses give back to ensure communities grow. It’s a powerful, continuous cycle and one that we are all very proud to be a part of here at Evertaut.”
Conclusion
Paying it forward is powerful.
